New Delhi: After helping clean up the air in Delhi and Mumbai, flagship gas utility GAIL now plans to pump Rs 1,000 crore into greening the highways by setting up 2,000 CNG (compressed natural gas) stations along major routes, even as it is chasing a target of wheeling about 95 million tonnes of natural gas to fire up industries around the country.
