KOCHI: The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) will chalk out an action plan soon after discussion with the Central and State Pollution Control Boards to rectify the high pollution levels in the industrial clusters of 70 cities including Kochi.

Following a Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) report about high levels of pollution in Mangalore, the State government has sent a team of scientists and officials to probe matters of air, land and water pollution in the area.
