During inspection, no bio medical waste was found dumped along roadside in the Tambaram Maduravoyal by-pass road from Tambaram to Madhavaram.

Further, it has become a place where sewage water is also stagnated due to non maintenance of the sewage system in that area.

Edwin Wilson Vs State of Tamil Nadu & Others dated 01/02/2019 regarding measures to protect the trees planted at public places and along the avenues in Chennai. The grievance in the application is that laying of concrete and cement around the trees, without any space is detrimental to the health of trees and environment. Avenue trees need to have adequate space around them.
