Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General appearing for the state of Maharashtra has stated before the SC that no more tree would be cut till the next date of hearing.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Cavelossim Villagers Forum Vs Village Panchayat of Cavelossim dated 01/10/2019 regarding construction of building at Khandi-Bandoi, Cavelossim, Salcete, Goa, by M/s Balaji concepts, by filling up water bodies with mud in violation of the law. As a result of illegal construction on plots bearing Survey No. 91/1, 91/5, 91/6, and 91/8 in village Cavelossi river Sal was getting polluted and nallahs, fishing ponds, natural water channels and paddy fields have been completely destroyed.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bhagwan Bhoite & Others Vs The Collector, Ahmednagar & Others dated 01/10/2019 regarding severe air pollution due to operation of a stone crusher unit in village Ghutewadi, Taluka Shrigonda, District Ahmednagar run by M/s. Dineschandra R. Agarwal Infracon Pvt. Ltd. It is alleged that the plant is run mostly at night and is located near to a school and agricultural lands. Apart from this, the unit is stated to fall within the limits of the Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESZ) of Great Indian Bustard Sanctuary.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Tarun Patel Vs Gujarat Pollution Control Board & Others dated 01/10/2019 regarding discharge caused by Vapi CETP and other units in Vapi/Daman region, Gujarat. The NGT orders that the CETP should adhere strictly to the inlet and outlet norms as prescribed under the rules and the Gujarat Pollution Control Board should monitor and maintain strict vigil over the CETP.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Uday Education & Welfare Trust Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 01/10/2019 regarding grant of provisional licences for establishment of new wood based industries in Uttar Pradesh. It is stated that online recommendations are being considered for new licenses for wood based industries and order dated 11.09.2019 has been issued by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Lucknow for the purpose.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Stench Grips Mansa's Sacred Ghaggar River With Yogender Kumar dated 01/10/2019 regarding pollution of river Ghaggar. The matter has been put up for consideration on the letter dated 30.09.2019 from Justice Pritam Pal, former Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Chairman of an “ Executing Committee” constituted by the Tribunal for overseeing the execution of orders of the Tribunal to remedy the pollution of River Ghaggar.
