Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sanjeev S J, President, Environmental Protection and Research Council Vs State of Kerala dated 30/07/2019 regarding Environment Clearance (EC) for a construction project by M/s Draganstone Realty Pvt. Ltd. obtained by concealing facts about the actual built up area. Report from State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) said that EC was granted on June 2018, which has since expired and the new application is still pending.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Joydeep Mukherjee Vs Chief Secretary, Govt. of West Bengal & Others dated 29/07/2019 regarding discharge of municipal solid waste and plastic bags in and around Tarapith area, Rampurhat subdivision of Birbhum district in West Bengal. Report submitted by the District Magistrate and Collector, Birbhum informed the Tribunal that a garbage clearance agency has been appointed for collection of waste material from the periphery of Maa-Tara Temple and both the sides of river Dwarka where hotels, guest houses and shops are situated.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Anil Kumar Rai Vs Ministry of Environment & Forest & Others dated 29/07/2019 regarding M/s. Broadson Commodities Pvt. Ltd., illegally undertaking sand mining on the riverbeds of Sone River in Bhojpur District, Bihar, in the process of which many temporary bridges have been constructed over the river. Sand has been excavated at many places by digging upto the depth of 50 feet against the permissible depth of 3 meter, resulting in reduction of groundwater level in the nearby area.
