Report submitted by a Joint Committee comprising of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), the District Magistrate, Punjabi Bagh and the North Delhi Municipal Corporation states that only eight banquet halls were inspected, though there are many others in the area. They could not produce building plans/maps. None of them have authorized parking arrangement.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Praduman Tiwari Vs Union of India & Others dated 21/05/2019 regarding cancelling of authorization in favour of Ferro Build Hards (I) Pvt. Ltd., Naini, Allahabad, (Pragyaj), Uttar Pradesh. Grievance in this application is that the plant in question is very close to residential area, river bed, railway track and highway. In spite of unsuitable location, UPPCB has granted authorization under the provisions of Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 in violation of guidelines issued by the CPCB in the year 2003.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Subhash Mohapatra Vs State of Odisha & Others dated 20/05/2019 regarding illegal and unauthorized use of 568.039 Acres of Revenue Forest Land (Jungle II Kisam) in Khata No. 1427, Jaidev Vihar Mouja, Bhubaneswar Tehshil, Khurda District for non-forestry purpose without obtaining any clearance from the forest department under the Forest Conservation Act, 1980.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gram Panchayat ARABA Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 17/05/2019 regarding pollution by industries in Jodhpur city along Jojari river. It has come to the notice of the NGT that inspite of repeated directions, the CETP have not treated or fully treating the effluent and the same is discharged in river/storm water drain/open places. This practice has been continued by the industries and the treatment plants continuously except for a period of short intervals.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Giriraj Parikrama Sanrakshan Sansthan & Others Vs Department of Environment & Forests & Others dated 17/05/2019 regarding violation of Environment Protection Act 1986 in and around Giriraj Parvat and Parikrama Marg, Goverdhan, District Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The issues raised included disposal of solid and hazardous waste, removal of encroachments from the Reserved Forest area, noise pollution and forest land diversion.
