Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Shyamal Kumar Mondal Vs West Bengal Pollution Control Board & Others dated 21/08/2017 regarding pollution caused to water bodies by industries in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. NGT Eastern Bench directs the State Pollution Control Board to proceed against M/s Solux Galfab (P) Ltd. as the unit has been defying the process of law with impunity and institute coercive proceedings.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Southern Zone, Chennai) in the matter of M/s. Puducherry Environment Protection Vs Union of India & Others dated 18/08/2017 regarding bio-medical waste treatment facilities of nursing homes and hospitals in Puducherry. The Puducherry Pollution Control Committee shall take appropriate action in accordance with law if the directions are not complied and shall submit a report before
the Tribunal on the details of the action taken.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ashish Dixit Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. dated 18/08/2017 regarding pollution of ponds and water bodies in District Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. NGT directs the State of Uttar Pradesh along with the concerned local authorities to identify all the water bodies in Lucknow and the same shall be put on the website of the said agencies as well as UPPCB. They shall be kept in public domain as well.
