If the report is not filed, each State would be liable to pay cost of Rs. 50,000/- each and also their Member Secretaries will be present before the Tribunal.

Uttarakhand Environment Protection & Pollution Control Board dated 08/08/2017 regarding grant of consent to operate for M/s Avanti Metals Industries, Uttarakhand. NGT permits participation of the CGWA in this proceedings as it appears the location of the factory in question is in Ganga basin.
