1. installation of Tertiary Plant,

2. obtaining permission of the CGWAI

3. the unit should also maintain its ETP.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Joydeep Mukherjee Vs Pollution Control Board, Meghalaya & Others dated 13/05/2016 regarding brick kilns operating without consent in the state of Meghalaya. NGT directs Meghalaya State PCB, to ensure that brick kilns operating in violation of the laws are dealt with as required under the relevant statutes in exercise of the powers vested in them.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Subhas Datta Vs State of West Bengal & Others dated 13/05/2016. The issue deals with losses to biodiversity and livelihood of fishermen from abstraction of excessive amounts of water for irrigation and from alteration of Ganga by Farakka Barrage Project.

Compliance Report dated 10th May, 2016 filed by Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board reveals that the Pali Water Pollution Control Treatment & Research Foundation has submitted Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) in respect of (Unit – II, III & IV) and the same were rejected-vide letter dated 11th February, 2016.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Manoj Misra Vs. Union of India & Others dated 13/05/2016 regarding coverage of drains in Delhi. NGT issues notice to SDMC as to why coercive action should not be taken against them for not taking any action for stopping construction of the covering of the Saket drain.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 13/05/2016 regarding Phase- I of the Ganga Cleaning Project. NGT wants a final meeting on 20th May, 2016 with all the stake holders (Chief Secretary, State of Uttar Pradesh, Managing Director of U.P. Jal Nigam, CEO of UP Jal Sansthan, Member Secretary of Central Pollution Control Board & Others) who are involved in Segment – II of Phase- I of the Ganga Cleaning Project in terms of the judgement of the Tribunal.
