Meena, WLI filed the present complaint u/s 55 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 in short the “Act” punishable u/s 51 of the Act against accused Bholu for hunting a peacock which is specified under Schedule-I of the Act.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Krishan Kant Singh & Anr. Vs. M/s. United Spirits Limited Rosa Shahjahanpur dated 29/04/2016. The Applicant is seeking extension of the period to operate granted vide Order dated 2nd March, 2016. According to the Applicant, the want of molasses and the time required for stabilizing the digester are the two good reasons for seeking such extension.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vikrant Kumar Tongad Vs. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. dated 28/04/2016 regarding installation of rain water harvesting systems in hotels of Delhi. Local Commissioner has filed the report. On inspection it was found that the IBIS Hotel has installed two Rain Water Harvesting Systems and both are similar in design and the said design is the approved design as per the CGWA. The report further shows that the Rain Water Harvesting Systems are in good and clean condition, are satisfactory and are as per the approved design.

Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi & Others dated 28/04/2016 regarding tree felling in the stretch located along Mehrauli-Badarpur Highway in south Delhi's Saket area. The DC of South Zone (SDMC) is directed to convene a meeting to prepare an Action Plan in consultation with the Residents Welfare Association concerned as well as the applicants and finalize the Action Plan for maintenance of existing trees and planting of fresh trees and submit a report before the Tribunal within 4 weeks.
