The Delhi government will introduce dedicated bicycle lanes on all main stretches in Delhi and make the city cyclist-friendly soon.

The news has come in response to a memorandum submitted by the Delhi Cycling Club (DCC) to Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

The assurance was communicated through a letter by the Chief Minister to convenor of the Delhi Cycling Club, Nalin Sinha.

Pune The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will soon come out with guidelines on introducing footpaths and cycle tracks on non-Bus Rapid Transit System
(BRTS) routes. FC Road and JM Road will be the first to get the facility. Cycle tracks and clearly demarcated footpaths have already been introduced on the BRTS routes.
