NEW DELHI: The sharp decline in revenue on account of falling sale of diesel in June on Friday prompted the Delhi Cabinet to approve a reduction in Value Added Tax imposed on it. As a result, the price of diesel would go down by Rs.2.50 per litre from July 20 and it would then start selling at Rs.37.60 per litre.
