On the eve of the World Intellectual Property Rights Day, an Intellectual Property cum Science and Technology Club was inaugurated at Rayat and Bahra Institute of Engineering and Bio-Technology, Sahauran, on Tuesday. The club aims to spread awareness among the masses about the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The club has been established in association with Punjab State Council for Science and Technology.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi on Wednesday said no child will be denied admission in primary schools run by it due to non-submission of birth certificate. Provisional admission is being granted to every child seeking admission in primary schools after accepting an affidavit by the guardian, subject to submission of birth certificate later on, civic body officials said.

The Delhi government's apathy towards thousands of children studying under testing conditions in over 200 schools run directly or aided by it came in for severe criticism from the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
