Grievance in the application is against illegal extraction of ground water by M/s Mitsui Kingzoku Components India Pvt. Ltd. in Rewari district in Haryana.

According to the applicant, NOC was granted to the project proponent by the ground water authority for groundwater abstraction up to 30m3/day, not exceeding 18,000 m3/year. But much more extraction is taking place.

Interim committee report on the restoration plan of Aravali forest land in Dadam hills (Bhiwani) damaged by mining. Five people were killed in a landslide at a mining site of Dadam in the Bhiwani district. The NGT had taken cognizance against illegal and unscientific mining in violation of EC conditions in and outside the forest area. The NGT sought a report from an eight member committee.

The matter is related to remedial steps for rejuvenation of Najafgarh lake, a transboundary wetland on the border of Delhi and Gurgaon in Haryana. Damage to the lake is by discharge of waste and encroachments.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jitender Singh Vs Union of India & Others dated 03/02/2023.

The matter related to the operation of 138 brick kilns in violation of environmental norms in Hisar district of Haryana. The tribunal was of the view that the operation of brick kilns needs to be regulated and the Haryana State Pollution Control Board and the District Magistrate, Hisar need to take remedial action.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahendra Singh Vs State of Haryana & Others dated 18/01/2023.

The matter related to stone crushers operating in district Mahendergarh in Haryana.

The court observed that "inspite of negative carrying capacity of the area in terms of air quality, large number of stone crushers are being permitted to continue".

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jagdish Kumar Vs State of Haryana dated 16/01/2023.

The matter related to compliance of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 in the state of Haryana.

The court noted that the matter was dealt by the NGT in the last five years by several orders, last order being May 9, 2022 on consideration of status report filed by the Chief Secretary, Haryana dated April 29, 2022.

The matter is related to legacy waste management.
