JAIPUR: A massive fire that broke out in the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) depot in the Sitapura Industrial Area on the outskirts of the Rajasthan capital on Thursday night claimed at least four lives. More than 150 persons are being treated in various hospitals in the city for burn and splinter injuries.

BHUBANESWAR: In order to spread the message regarding creation of a greener environment and use of renewable energy sources to save fuel, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will organise a mini marathon in the Capital on September 13.

HYTHANE TO IMPROVE VEHICLES

: The number of private cars running on CNG (compressed natural gas) in Delhi has risen 43% year-on-year, even as more than 3,700 such automobiles continue to be added to the clean-fuel transport fleet. A survey commissioned by the city's sole CNG supplier, Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), has found 175,313 private CNG cars against 122,485 in March last year.

Jamshedpur, July 14: Soon the steel city will be the first in Jharkhand and Bihar to have LPG-run vehicles.

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is set to launch an Auto LPG Centre (LPG dispensing station) and special kits for LPG driven vehicles on July 23.

MORMUGAO, APRIL 4 — Mormugao Deputy Collector Levinson Martins convened a review meeting on Friday in connection with the seepage of an unidentified petroleum product in two wells at Pilmaad Bogmallo.
Chicolna-Bogmallo Sarpanch Laximan Kavlekar informed Martins that the seepage continued even though Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) had pumped out 15 tanker-loads of the inflammable liquid.
