CHANDIGARH: The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC) has successfully completed the acquisition of about 3,000 acres of land and another 3,000 acres is likely to be acquired by the end of the current fiscal year, Managing Director Rajeev Arora said on Wednesday.

Chandigarh: While the Haryana government is seeking suggestions afresh from the entrepreneurs to formulate its new industrial policy, it has already decided to reduce the time limit for providing change of land use (CLU), to set up industrial units, from existing three months to two months to boost the interest of entrepreneurs.

THRISSUR: The prospects for allocation of funds for the rail coach factory in Palakkad in the ensuing Railway Budget were dim following the delay in acquisition of the required land for the factory by the State Government, said P C Chacko MP.

JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy has alleged that the ruling BJP has lost track and is taking erratic decisions.

Addressing reporters in Bangalore on Thursday, he said the government has acquired 1.75 lakh hectare land for industrial purpose.
