The Islamabad High Court here Monday warned the Capital Development Authority official to remove the litter dumping site around sectors H-10 and G-10 immediately or to face legal consequences.

To supply potable water to the city residents in accordance with standards approved by World Health Organization (WHO), Capital Development Authority (CDA) will hire a multinational company to run its 32 water filtration plants installed in various sectors.

The Chinese delegation headed by Jamshaid Ullah, General Manager, Rimedyne Refrigeration System Co Ltd, committed to export 30 CNG buses in the first phase for Islamabad, while CDA informed that they need 500 CNG buses for Islamabad which is environment friendly.

The Islamabad High Court here Monday adjourned till May 12 hearing of a writ against a ban on motor-boating business at Rawal Lake View Park. Justice Mohammad Ramzan Chaudhry put off the hearing after being informed that comments submitted by the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency had not yet been incorporated into the case record.
