BERHAMPUR: Six children and an adult have died of food poisoning at remote Gudrimaha village of Daringbadi block in Kandhamal district .

Speaking to The Hindu over phone, the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) of the district, Jatin Patnaik confirmed the death of three girls and an adult woman.

PHULBANI: A Herd of wild elephants went on the rampage again yesterday killing three persons and destroying many houses in village Kumbharamunda under Daringibadi police station limits in Kandhamal district.
