With 5,000 MW planned for commissioning in the 12th Five-Year Plan, Neyveli Lignite Corporation is looking for allocation of coal blocks to fuel its growth.

The work for procuring and distributing the Ganga water in the city has finally been begun by the Greater Noida Authority. The Authority will begin mixing 85 cusecs of Ganga water with groundwater across the city by 2012. The project will cost Rs 300 crore.
