People who often need to run helter-skelter to answer the call of nature during a public event in the Capital have a small thing to cheer: Kathmandu Waste Management Service (KWMS) is going to bring one more mobile toilet into operation for such occasions in the Valley.

"The new mobile toilet will be stationed at programme venues in the Valley," said KWMS Executive Director Bashu Upreti.

The Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV-Nepal) in association with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is organising a three-day international Bio-gas conference in Kathmandu from Nov.10.

The objective of the conference is to exchange knowledge and experiences between practitioners, experts and policy makers on the dissemination of domestic biogas plants.
