MADURAI: The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday stayed a Government Order issued on September 22 to supply waste material generated from a stone quarry managed by Tamil Nadu Minerals Limited (TAMIN) at Pokishamalai, a hillock at Keezhavalavu of Melur Taluk near here, to a self help group (SHG).
High Court adjourned the hearing in mining carried out by Sesa Goa in some parts of Advalpal village near Assonora by three weeks with rider that pendency of this petition should not come in the way of the application to be considered by Indian Bureau of Mines .
