NAMAKKAL: The cooperative banks in the district have extended crop loan to the tune of Rs. 30.92 crore to farmers, Collector U. Sagayam has said.

NAMAKKAL: Over 5,000 saplings were planted in the massive tree plantation exercise launched by the Namakkal district administration in the Collectorate complex here on Thursday.
NAMAKKAL: The Namakkal District Legal Services Authority conducted awareness camps on National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) in Keerambur and Konur villages recently.

NAMAKKAL: The district administration will initiate immediate efforts to de-silt the Arur Lake, a major water spread in Mohanur block in the district.
