NEW DELHI: GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) on Tuesday announced that it had signed a nuclear power plant development agreement with Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The agreement involves establishing an extensive network of local suppliers to help build a future GEH-designed advanced boiling water reactor (ABWR) power station in India.

Bangladesh and Russia on Wednesday signed an agreement on peaceful use of nuclear energy enabling Dhaka to launch negotiations with Moscow to set up nuclear power units in Bangladesh.
