BHUBANESWAR: The Assembly Standing Committee on the Rural Development Department today emphasised on early completion of the rural pipe water supply projects and use of quality pipes.

The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS) has proposed to complete 2,500 pipe water projects at an estimated cost of Rs 850 crore during the current financial year.

SHILLONG, Jan 13: Lapses in implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) have prompted the Union Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) to stop allocating funds to Meghalaya.
