The State Government has decided to permit farmers to install their own transformer for taking new irrigation pump connection and extending the line. The government has taken this novel decision in view of the farmers

Last year 35 thousand 565 million units were supplied in the state. Comparing to last year about 2800 million units of more power was supplied this year. The capacity of 2526 high tension distribution transformers has also been increased.
