The Chhattisgarh Government has launched a widespread campaign to distribute homoeopathic medicines with the objective of preventing and treating malaria in rural areas.

Under the campaign, homoeopathic medicines will be administered door-to-door by Mitanin workers, a government official said. State Home Minister Nankiram Kanwar launched the campaign on Sunday from Mainpur development block of Gariyaband, the official said.

A campaign to create awareness among the rural masses to help them overcome malnutrition has been launched in Hassan district by the Department of Information, Government of Karnataka.

Eight publicity units, 10-12 streetplay troupes and around 24 department officials, besides local publicity officers are engaged in the campaign. this study we compared the fixed drug combinations and dosage forms in the hospital pharmacy before and after introducing the essential drug list. We also compared the Hospital Essential Drug List (HEDL) 2011 with the World Health Organization (WHO) Essential Drug List (EDL) 2011 and the National Essential Drug List of India (NEDL) 2011.
