ATHI RIVER deputy county commissioner Kodeck Makori has announced a cholera outbreak in Athi River town.

He addressed a public baraza in the town on Wednesday.

As per information provided by the Office of Registrar General of India (RGI), slum population in Delhi has decreased from 18,51,231 (Census 2001) to 16,17,239 (Census 2011). Details of slum population of million plus Cities (as per Census 2001 & Census 2011) are at Annexure-I. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation constituted a Technical Group (TG-12) on estimation of urban housing shortage of the country for the 12th Five Year Plan (2012- 17).
