The matter relates to two writ petitions filed before the High Court of Delhi which were transferred to NGT. One petition was filed by Mr. Satish Kumar resident of village Mundka, New Delhi alleging environment pollution caused by burning of plastic, leather, rubber, motor engine oil and other waste materials and continuous operation of illegal industrial units dealing with such articles on agricultural lands in village Mundka, New Delhi.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Southern Zone Bench, Chennai) in the matter of M/s.Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Rice Mill Vs Andhra Pradesh State Pollution Control Board & Others dated 22/09/2017 regarding consent to operate for Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Rice Mill, Maruthi Nagar, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. Tribunal directs Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) to inspect the rice mill and if all the deficiencies have been taken care of, then the rice mill shall be permitted to operate.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Gopal Krishna Ojha Vs State of West Bengal & Others dated 03/01/2017 regarding noise and air pollution caused by cutting of woods and wooden logs by a manufacturer of furniture, Hooghly, West Bengal.

The record of proceeding also states that direction has been issued to the private respondents to obtain consent to operate for use of electrical (motorized) machine for its manufacturing activities.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Southern Zone, Chennai) in the matter of Venugopalapuram & Nateson Nagar Vs Government of Tamil Nadu & Others dated 20/09/2016 regarding contamination of ground water due to discharge of waste water by an industry in the business of water servicing of vehicles. Also it is alleged that the industry is operating within the residential area without getting prior Consent or Environment Clearance from the Tamil Nadu State Pollution Control Board.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. Devashish Bhattacharya Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 02/08/2016. The applicant is seeking direction to the Petha Units in Agra City to stop using fossil fuels for manufacturing Petha and not to dispose of waste products in sewage or in open places in Agra.
