Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Southern Zone, Chennai) in the matter of V. Sankara Subramanian Vs Union of India & Others dated 13/01/2021.

The matter related to a building project in an area having an extent of 10.87 acres in Vedapatti village, Coimbatore south taluk, Coimbatore district under the name Golden City. The proposal was to construct 1356 flats of various sizes. It is alleged that the construction of the project started even before the grant of Environment Clearance.
