Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vivek Kamboj & Others Vs. Union of India & Others dated 22/01/2016 regarding dumping of waste in Gurgaon, Haryana.

NGT in its order restrained HUDA and Municipal Corporation, Gurgaon from dumping any waste in any green area or, infact, at any place other than the sites identified for dumping of waste. Both these organizations would also show cause why the Environmental Compensation in terms of Section 16 & 17 of National Green Tribunal, Act 2010 be not imposed upon them.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of S. K. Udyog Ltd. Vs. Punjab Pollution Control Board & Ors. dated 21/01/2016 regarding pollution by S. K. Udyog Ltd, Punjab.

The premises would be inspected by a joint inspection team consisting of an officer from the Punjab Pollution Control Board and a nominated person from IIT Ropar by the Director of that institute.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh Dubey Vs. Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board & Others dated 21/01/2016 regarding hospital waste management in the State of Chhattisgarh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gaurav Jain Vs. State of Punjab & Ors. dated 20/01/2016 regarding municipal solid waste management for the State of Punjab.

State of Punjab would place on record the progress in relation to 8 clusters dealing with the municipal solid waste for the entire state. 

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Khan Leather Finishers Vs. Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board dated 14/01/2016 regarding leather industries causing pollution to river Ganga, Jajmau Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Court find no reason to grant the relief prayed for by the Applicants at this stage. The Applicants’ Units were found to be not functioning on the date when the joint inspection team went for inspection. The obvious intent was to withhold information to be provided to the Board and avoid the inspection by the joint inspecting team.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Laxmi Suiting & Others Vs. State of Rajasthan & Others dated 08/01/2016 regarding pollution caused by textile industries in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Nadeem Iqbal Vs. Nagar Nigam, Bareilly & Ors. dated 07/01/2016 regarding collection, transportation and disposal of Municipal Solid Wastes as well as Bio-medical Waste.

Site selection shall be completed by the next date of hearing. Complete details of the plant which is treating Bio-medical Waste with video-graphs should be filed before the Tribunal by the Respondents (Bareilly Development Authority and Bareilly Municipal Corporation)

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of RELA & Others Vs. State of Andhra Pradesh & Others dated 07/01/2016 regarding mining of rivers beds.

All the State Governments shall ensure that there is no illegal, unauthorized and mechanized mining of the river beds contrary to/without Environmental Clearance and the consent of the Pollution Control Boards.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 06/01/2016 regarding diseases as a result of pollution majorly generated by air pollution.

Gujarat, Bihar, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Chhatisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Jharkhand would file a comprehensive affidavit stating the steps taken by the respective states in the respective cities, for prevention and control of air pollution. The ambient air quality samples will be taken and analysis report be submitted before the Tribunal.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sterling Apartments Residents Welfare Association (Regd.) V/s. M/s. Ajay Enterprises (P) Ltd. dated 04/01/2016 regarding felling of 18 trees and 40 bushes on the land in question (Charmwood Village, Haryana).

Application is disposed of with directions that the present purchaser and the seller both, will be jointly responsible for plantation of 100 trees.
