BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today made a strong plea for granting environmental clearance for mining from the two coal blocks allotted to the Orissa Power Generation Corporation (OPGC) in Sundargarh district.

On a four-day visit to Delhi, the Chief Minister called upon Union Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal and discussed the expansion plan of the Ib Thermal Power Station in Jha
