Shanghai Electric To Supply Equipment For 23,760 MW

RELIANCE Power has placed an $8.29-billion order with Shanghai Electric Corp for equipment to generate 23,760 MW, putting the Anil Ambani controlled firm on track to become a leading power producer and hoisting the supplier's shares to a two-and-ahalf-year high.
