Oct. 22: Non-availability of land in Hyderabad and other cities has halted the expansion plans of the various telecom companies, particularly the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), in the state.
The state government has made it mandatory for telecom companies to acquire the permission of land owners as well as neighbours before erecting telephone towers.
