Sex and longevity

A new study suggests that men who have frequent sex are likely to live longer. Researchers George Davey Smith, from University of Bristol, UK, found that men who had sex less than once a month had twice the death rate of those who had sex at least twice a week. The death rate for coronary heart diseases was 2.2 times more in the first group. This study showing epidemiological and biological basis for the association between sex life and longevity is by far the most convincing (British Medical Journal , Vol 315, No 7123).
