Hyderabad, Oct. 29: Nine coastal districts in the state and 75 others nationwide are vulnerable to cyclones and inland flooding. But some state governments are still inept at handling cyclones. This has forced the Centre to go in for a massive modernisation plan of forecasting and estimating the intensity of cyclones.
