UPPCL gets Rs 100 crore relief from NTPC [1]

LUCKNOW: In a significant development, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has pushed through an amendment in the Power Tariff

Regulation Act which translates into a major sop of about Rs 100 crore for the revenue starved UP Power Corporation Limited. But the bad news is that the benefits of the amendment may not be passed on to the power consumers in the state.
