Tiruchy,
NEARLY 160 persons were injured in a jallikattu held at Narthamalai in Pudukkottai district on Sunday. Ten police personnel, including Balasubramanian, DIG of Tiruchy range and two policewomen were injured in a clash between the police and the spectators and a lathi-charge that followed to control the crowd.
