ANGUL: In comparison to about seven per cent growth of Coal India Limited, its flagship company Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL) has posted a growth of 9.46 per cent in the 2008-09. However, it could not achieve its revised target of 104 million tonne (MT) fixed by the Coal Ministry due to various factors.
