An awareness camp on orchid plantation was organised on recently at Hahara, Sonapur under Dimoria Development Block by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi, under the Women Scientist Programme and Department of Bio-Technology of Gauhati University in association with Emergent Development Society, an NGO.
