Illegal sand mining continues unabated in Kushalnagar [1]

The illegal sand mining is being carried out unabated in Cauvery river thus polluting the water and affecting the aquatic life.

Though the Department of Geology and Mining has given permission for sand mining in some places, several people are involved in illegal sand mining in the region.
