Army rushed in for river rescue - Flood hits 3500 families [1]

Aug. 20: The army has been called in Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar to evacuate over 1,500 marooned families.

More than 3,500 families in three north Bengal districts have been affected after the water level of the rivers passing through them rose.
