Rogue elephants damage crops near Birur [1]

Birur, August 20, DH News Service:

Two rogue tuskers have destroyed jowar and sunflower fields on Yagati road near Birur.

The rogue tuskers came from Arasikere on Thursday night and on Friday morning they were seen near Birur. At about 8 am, they entered the jowar field of Dogehalli Thimmarayappa and destroyed the farmland.
