Chandigarh: In a bid to ensure adequate irrigation facility at Kandi in Punjab, chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has given in-principle approval to install 280 tubewells at a cost of Rs 130 crore.
A decision to this effect was taken by Badal in a meeting of senior officers of the state irrigation department chaired by him here.
