Karnataka government has decided to introduce energy-efficient LED and CFL bulbs in offices and streets in seven city corporations, Urban Development Minister S Suresh Kumar said today.
LED and CFL bulbs, besides being consuming significantly less electricity, generally last five years compared to the conventional, incandescent ones whose life was around two years, the minister told reporters.I
