Himachal Pradesh was awarded the best state award on Friday and was also adjudged as the best in investment climate, agriculture, governance, infrastructure and macro-economy.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal received the award from Vice-President Hamid Ansari at a function organised in New Delhi by a media group as 'State of States' survey-2010.
