First hydel project in G Hills on cards [1]

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma said Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) has been asked to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Ganol Hydel Project.

"The Government plans to take up the project on its own since the Union Ministry of DoNER has already assured allocation of funds for the first such Hydel project in Garo Hills," Sangma said in reply to the supplementar
