The FM gave only nominal backing to the bouquet of social schemes clubbed under Bharat Nirman.The overall increase was Rs 10,000 crore over the previous year,adding up to Rs 58,000 crore.
But in real terms,this could mean much less as the revised outlays for previous years are well above the initial allocations.
The National Rural Drinking Water Programme got Rs 8,099 crorethe same as last year
