Agitated residents of Cavrem village descended at the Margao residence of Chief Minister, Digambar Kamat on early Tuesday morning, demanding an immediate closure of a mine in the village.
The residents, including a large number of women activists, took out a morcha to the residence of the Chief Minister and impressed upon him the need to close down the illegal mine.
