Crisis of ground water [1]

The winter season is yet to depart fully. Some time back the farmers crops were hit by frost; now, there are also reports of sudden rains in some parts. Now, news is coming that the groundwater level in the State has fallen by 2 to 3 metres. The lake of the State capital Bhopal at Bhadbhada has started drying. Rainfall during the last few years was less and the lake did not fill up to the brim.
