Borewell water contaminated due to untreated effluents let out by companies
Over 200 residents of Mookandapalli, Nethaji Nagar, MGR Nagar, Pothigai Nagar, Manickavasagar Nagar and Sivaji Nagar adjoining the Hosur SIPCOT Phase I is facing severe ground water pollution for the past six months. People of the residential colonies complain that the bore well water was contaminated due to the untreated chemical effluents let out by companies.
